Compliant with the relevant parts of test protocol EN136 and EN166, the visor is designed for high impact resistance and provides optical clarity.

Polycarbonate is one of the stongest plastics known. Although more temperature resistant than Acetate or Nylon, it is readily scratched by abrasive surfaces and it should not be exposed to strong solvents.

The mask visor escutcheon provides extra protection against accidental scratches; from being placed down on rough surfaces; and the mask provides excellent vertical and periferal vision - especially given the mask's self-demisting design- even with frontal filter cannisters fitted.
