Product Description

A peak fronted, economy safety helmet in Red, Blue, Green, White, or Yellow.

Designed for occasional use, provision to site visitors, it is made from High density polyethylene and comes fitted with adjusting harness and includes chin-strap loops.
Shelf life is two years.
All helmets are made to absorb 'top-end'', impact energy through plastic yield, which may include partial destruction or damage to the shell or harness: in much the same way as 'crush-zones' are built in to cars, to protect passengers against imapct **. Helmets that have been subject to impacts (more than bumps and scrapes) must be replaced immediately after incident.

** Even though such damage may not be readily apparent, any helmet subjected to severe impact must be replaced. Attention is drawn to the danger of modifying or removing any of the original component parts of the helmet.

Helmets should not be modified or adapted other than by fitting manufacturer approved attachments, such as visor frames and ear-defenders. Do not applypaint, solvent, adhesives or self-adhesive labels.

Inspection and care of the helmetThe helmet is a complete system consisting of shell and harness.The helmet’s useful life is affected by many factors including extreme heat or cold, exposure to sunlight or chemicals.

The helmet and harness should be regularly examined for obvious signs of cracking, brittleness or damage. When handled and stored correctly, and when free from damage, the usable life ofthe helmet is 2 years from first use.

Helmets may be cleaned with soap/detergent and warm water and dried with a cloth.They should not be cleaned with abrasive substances or solvents and must not be stored indirect sunlight or in contact with solvents.
