SCAVENGER 2...

..is a non-flammable solvent for thoroughly surface cleaning metals, rubber, plastic material & fabrics of dirt that may not be cleaned with water, or regular detergent solutions .

Suitable for use in ultra-sound cleaners and agitators, Scavenger may be used safely with a wide variety of materials: concentrated to gently remove waxes, resins (including uncured Epoxy/Polyester resins, most oil, acrylic and water-based paints)  and tar -  diluted, where items are only moderately to heavily soiled.

Scavenger 2 is safe for use on components intended to be exposed to high partial pressures of Oxygen and other gases.

Scavenger's active ingredients are Fatty Acid Ethyloxylates. Its concentrated pH range is 5.8 to 6.2 and it does not readily form salts when used on metallic components, such as brass, Aluminium and Nickel or chrome plating - in other words, it does not encourage corrosion, as would cleaners containing caustic soda and mineral acids.

For use in Ultra-sound cleaners, agitators and for hand washing, Scavenger 2 should be diluted between one part per three parts; and one part per ten parts water, depending on how soiled the materials to be cleaned have become. After satisfactory cleaning, components should be rinsed with clean, warm water and dried before reassembly - especially when working with Oxygen gas regulation equipment, medical equipment and so forth.

Scavenger has antiseptic properties but it is neither intended, nor claimed a disinfectant.
Where disinfection of components is needed, note that Scavenger is compatible with Normal solutions of Sodium Hypochlorite (bleach) and Chlorohexedine (e.g. Savlon liquid).

When handling the concentrate, use liquid proof gloves and chemical goggles, thus to protect mucosal surfaces.
Irrigate accidental splashes to skin, eyes or mucosa with water. If ingested drink water, do not discourage vomitting and refer to Medical Centre.

Do not use hot above 80 degrees C. Slightly toxic if ingested, Scavenger is a mucosal irritant in aqueous concentrations higher than 1:10.
