Helios Safety & Rescue was formed in 1989, to provide safety services dedicated to the Diving industry, Fire Fighting and Paramedical Emergency services - and to develop and distribute the World’s most effective Oxygen therapy and Resuscitation kits, Gloves that keep your hands warm and dry in freezing water and other uniquely useful products for use`in related areas.

Since then, Helios has accomplished these tasks and developed further, to offer comprehensive safety services and training, in areas such as Civil Fire fighting, Mixed gas diving, Confined Space Entry, Flood Rescue and First Aid; serving industries that include Oil and Gas drilling, Commercial diving, Chemical production, Food Processing, Mining and the Water industry. Recently, more and more FM companies and Recreational Water Centres have regularly used both our products and our training Services – as do many Government Departments, including Defence.

We perform Quantitative Risk Assessment, Air Pollution analyses, Asbestos surveys, Noise surveys and other scientific tasks related to keeping people safe at work.

We inspect and maintain Safety & Rescue Equipment and Provide a Comprehensive Safety Equipment Hire Service to include on site training and maintenance.

Our development has been customer led and our expansion has been largely through customer referral - a position we proudly maintain and a tradition we will continue.

Our founder, Bill Parker, has a thirty year long reputation as one of Britain’s leading technicians for Respiratory Protection and in the development of PPE and he remains instrumental in the further development of International test protocol for PPE, on BSI and other committees.
