Helios Safety & Rescue was founded in 1989 to provide safety services dedicated to the diving industry, fire fighting and paramedical emergency services. Since then Helios has grown into a number of related areas.
Comprehensive training and safety services in areas including civil fire fighting, mixed gas diving, confined space entry, flood rescue and first aid. Helios operates across a range of industries including oil and gas drilling, commercial diving, chemical production, food processing, mining and water services.
Quantitative risk assessment including air pollution analysis, asbestos surveys, noise surveys and other scientific tasks relating to safety at work.
Inspection and Maintenance of safety and rescue equipment including comprehensive safety equipment hire supported by a full training service. Helios distributes the world's most effective oxygen therapy and resuscitation kits and developed a unique range of diving gloves to keeps hands warm and dry in harsh conditions.
Since 1989 Helios has expanded largely through customer referral - a position we proudly maintain and a tradition we will continue. Helios founder, Bill Parker, has a thirty year long reputation as one of Britain's leading technicians for respiratory protection and in the development of international test protocol PPE on BSI and other committees.
