Endorsed by the Swimming Teachers Association, this, ten Metre, Rescue Throw-Bag is always ready for action, light, accurate and easy to use.
This version is for Pool side use and life-guard provision but it is very popular with canoeists, who need an easily packed, strong line that takes up little space and is always easy on teh hands. Its special core-less braided, polyester line took us two years to perfect, in cooperation with England's premier rope manufacturer: so that its delivery from the back is almost frictionless and does not impede the bag's flight through the air, to the casualty.
The bag and rope, floating on the water, is very easy for the casualty to grasp firmly and comfortably, affording them confidence in being rapidly recovered to the pool-side.
The Rescue Throw-Bag is not a floatation aid, so; life-rings and floatation aids are more appropriate where the casualty may not be readily recovered and needs to be kept afloat whilst help is sought – such cases might be high dock sides and passenger ferries.
