A 50 metre G-winch is very helpful in dificult, confined space works.  

Quickly and easily attached to a Tripod; we suggest the winch used in conjunction with the G-Saver II, which ensures the safe and easy raising or lowering of personnel - bearing in mind that the recovery, or rescue line MUST be a second means of access or recovery. If tested, safe comapnion ladders, or other access means, are present, then the winch (or similar device suitable for the risk) many be used as the 'second means' of recovery.

Generally, where physical assessment of access to shafts has not been possible, it will be necessary to use two access means to ensure reliable safety.

Two modes of use offer low ratio gear for use in access and recovery and high ration gear for quick, convenient cable winding.

The G-Winch has a high mechanical efficiency and a light, smooth action making personnel hoisting easy. The internal mechanism is case hardened to give a long, wear resistant life as well as toughness and durability.  Cable retrieval rate of  50mm per handle revolution or 500mm per handle revolution when in rapid retrieval mode.
