The four position nose-pad, for assisting pressure equalisation, when diving, offers greater adjustment and robustness than before; whilst the design has improved to present better comfort and effect, whilst equalising inner ear pressure with ambient.
EPDM compound replaces the silicone rubber used previously, with the result of similar softness but much higher strength and better security.
The pad is simply fitted and adjusted to the stainless, wire frame (part number: 460 190 510, located to the inner mask port moulding using M3Fx 10 machine screws).
(See assembly number 25, on the parts drawing)
The new design locates more securely than before and we expect fewer nose pads to be lost in the water, by divers who thought they'd fitted it OK!

I used to really struggle clearing my ears using the "standard" divator nose piece and I used to get sore underneath my nose where the standard part used to rub Also on a couple of dives I actually managed to push the nose piece Off the retaining Pin!
This new nose block is made from a SOLID piece of EPDM as the fit is fantastic No more trouble clearing no more sore nose and no chance of pushing the block off the retaining ring
probably the best addition to my Divator mask and the price didnt break the bank
