Product Description

High pressure piston compressor, FOR HIRE (SEE HIRE CONDITIONS) available to customers we have trained and certified competent.
Shipping charges are applied only where customers do not collect equipment from our premises. Air filters are charged extra, at listed prices. The compressor is delivered, fuelled, with new filters and charged with compressor sump oil (special grade).

Suitable for breathing air and similar applications, this is intended for occupational diving parties and site work, where Breathing Apparatus users, up to ten in number,  need to reliably refill cylinders.

It has a compact but ver competent purification system, which includes coalescence and particulate filtration, to facilitate that air quality meets the requirements of European, air-quality standards (EN 12021).

  • Max. Operating Pressure: 330 bar. (Pressure relief sytem fixed at 330 bar.)
  • Special relief pressure option set at 225 bar, if noted on order.
  • Service life: 20,000 run-hours (expected)
  • Performance :
Motor power; 3,6 KW: (5.5 HP)
    Operating speed; 1200 RPM:
Free Air Delivery; 103 Standard Litres per Minute (at STP)
    Gross weight;  53 Kg
    Dimensions (cm); L=72, W=34, H=46

Air Purification System

A coalescing prefilter (0,5 mg/m3 oil residual) is installed before the active carbon and a molecular sieve cartridge is incorporated inside the replaceable filter, which also includes a dessicant stage.
Filter life is ten hours run-time. Filter change records should be recorded and run-times remarked on the compressor's service card and air quality must be tested to conform with required standards. Testing is easy, using our RAE, reagent tube testing kit, or similar test kits and the required air quality standard may include EN: 12021 and with reference to BS4275.

If you need help with air quality protocol knowledge, please enquire, or refer to our guidance section.

Note: when using petrol/combustion engine versions, use must be in well ventilated spaces and the inlet filter must be positioned at least 1.5 Metres (up-wind) of the motor exhaust silencer. Compressors must not be used by operatives who have not been suitably trained and experienced.
